NC stands for Nylon/Cotton. The outside of LOWLAND OUTDOOR Companion NC 1 is made of nylon, the inside of nice and soft 100% Egyptian cotton. Why choose a nylon exterior? Because nylon is moisture and dirt repellent. Plus, rip-stop nylon is super light and super sturdy. For the camper who doesn't feel like taking his shoes off all the time in the tent. Don't worry about your sleeping bag, it can take a beating. A 2-way zipper allows you to zipper two Lowland Outdoor sleeping bags together; but if it gets too hot, you can unzip the sleeping bag at your feet and get extra ventilation.

The Companion NC 1, like the Lowland Outdoor Companion CC 1, will keep you nice and warm until about freezing. This sleeping bag is stuffed in our own workshop in Maarsbergen.

The YKK zipper is equipped with an anti snag slider. This prevents the risk of dust getting between the zipper. This is the most common problem, a zipper that is stuck and will not open. This happens because there is a piece of fabric between it and it often takes a fair amount of effort and strength to loosen it. Until today, because with this anti snag slider your zipper is fully protected.
