Body Mapping Technology
The specially developed V-shaped design from Klymit delivers superior support and comfort no matter how you sleep - on your side, stomach or back.
Integrated into the patterning and construction, side rails help provides a secure, comfortable sleep by centering you on the pad and inhibiting air movement while tossing and turning.
Secure and simple, the valve allows for inflation in as few as 10 breaths, and opens wide for rapid, complete deflation. The mechanism creates a secure seal and helps prevent inadvertent opening.

After using a self-inflating foam sleeping pad for years, I decide to try a modern air mattress. After looking around and being shocked by the price of some of them I decided to try the Klymit Insulated Static V. It had gotten many good reviews and the price was perfect. After receiving the mattress I embarked on a three-week bike tour in the Canadian Rockies. I can honestly say that I got some of the best sleep ever using the Static V. For me, ten to twelve puffs was all it took to inflate the bag. It is quiet to sleep on -- some of the high end mattresses sound like tin foil, even in the next tent. Plus, I'm a stomach and side sleeper. I used to "bottom out" on the foam pad when sleeping on my side. This just didn't happen with the Static V. Also, the insulation was welcome since temperatures got down low enough that my 30 degree down bag was nice and cozy. I does lose a little air overnight, but I never woke up to a flat mattress. And, it is a little hard to roll up the mattress inside the tent. Overall, though, this is a great, compact, comfortable air mattress. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my wife.
